"Faith, Family, & Fraternity"
"The life of the body is the soul;
The life of the soul is God"
- St Anthony

AN ACT OF CHARITY
My God,
I love thee above all things,
with my whole heart and soul,
because thou art all good and worthy of all my love.
I love my neighbor as myself for the love of thee.
I forgive all who have injured me, and ask pardon
of all whom I have injured.

ABOUT OUR CHURCH
“Christians do not build temples: Christians are temples. A church building is a place where the church – God’s people of praise – gather to worship God and celebrate the presence of the risen Lord among us. The form of our churches is based on and reflects our theology of the church and, in turn, shapes the way we express our faith in our worship.”

MICHAEL J. MCGIVNEY
Thanks to the efforts of Father Michael J. McGivney, assistant pastor of St. Mary’s Church in New Haven and some of his parishioners, the Connecticut state legislature on March 29, 1882, officially chartered the Knights of Columbus as a fraternal benefit society. The Order is still true to its founding principles of charity, unity and fraternity.

OUR PARISH
The St. Anthony’s Parish community is proud to have been a part of Lloydminster since 1909. Our first church was built in 1910, and, with the growth and change in Lloydminster, it has been necessary to build new churches twice since then. The second church opened in August 1949, and the first Mass in our current building was celebrated on April 12, 1987.
